List of certificates to be awarded in the 2018 Graduation Ceremony

As with each year, a number of students will be receiving certificates at the Darul Uloom’s 29th Annual Graduation Ceremony on the 25th of December 2018. A special feature of this Graduation will, however, be the presentation of certificates to two candidates on the completion of the Takhassus fil Fiqh (Mufti) course. This is a course that entails specialization, research and further education after the completion of the Aalim course. In total, 58 certificates will be bestowed in the ceremony, In Sha Allah, divided as follows:
- 25 students will receive certificates on the completion of examinations from the Al Azhar University of Cairo, Egypt. These examinations, which are written in Arabic, consist of 2 levels: Ibtidai and I’dadi. Certificates for both levels will be presented to qualifying students during the ceremony.
- 11 students will obtain their certificates on the completion of Hifzul Qur’an – for securing the entire Holy Qur’an to memory.
- 20 students will obtain graduate as Ulama on the completion of their 6 year Aalim course studies.
- 2 candidates will receive their certificates on the completion of the Takhassus fil Fiqh (Mufti) course.
The numbers presented here are subject to final examination results and we pray that Allah Almighty grant all the students and candidates success in their pursuit of knowledge, their examinations and their futures as leaders and influential members of their respective communities.
