Juloos (March) in honour of the Prophet PBUH

Alhamdulillah, once again, the Darul Uloom Pretoria – in conjunction with many other organizations of Laudium, hosted a march in honour of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammed PBUH.
The march commenced from the Jummah Masjid, Jewel Street after Asr Salaah on Saturday afternoon. As the crowd proceeded through the streets of Laudium, the chants of Marhaba Ya Rasoolallah grew louder as the crowd grew larger.
The crowd stopped at various prominent intersections and local Scholars, including Hafiz Ismail Hazarvi, Imaam Saeed Moulana Shoabe Vali spoke about the love for the Prophet and Islam as a true religion of peace. They emphasised that there is no room for terror or violence in our religion of love and harmony and urged all to be true ambassadors of Islam by bringing the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH into their daily lives. A large number of Non-Muslims also gathered around to learn about Islam and they learnt that Islam is actually quite the opposite of the negative image being portrayed in western media.
The march terminated at Darul Uloom Pretoria Complex, Taj Street where Mufti Mohammad Akbar Hazarvi narrated an incident in which Hazrat Adam A.S pleaded to Allah using the Wasilah of Muhammed PBUH and his Dua was accepted.

Every speaker at the march emphasized that Islam is based on the principals of love and peace taught by the prophet PBUH
The programme was concluded with Salatu Salaam by Brother Altaaf Fayzoo and Dua by Qari Khalid Shirazi.
May Allah grant us all the ability to follow the teachings of the Prophet PBUH in the true sense. Ameen
